Opening files on webfolders/WebDAV

I want to open files which are located on a webfolder. It's a WebDAV mapping to a sharepoint document site. I can browse the folder and create folders on it with DOpus but I can't open files. In Explorer I can do this because there is an Open action available. In DOpus the only actions available are Send to, Copy, Paste etc and New Folder.

I know it's nog Opus who controls this cause it's a virtual folder but why does it work in Explorer and more importantly....how can I get it to work.

Someone has an idea???

Thnx

Does anyone know, is WebDAV the same as creating a shortcut to a website in My Network Places?

I think yes. Windows calls this a webfolder and I usually create it by using the "Open.." menu item in IE (one of the seldom moments I open that program). A better way of using WebDAV is WebDrive which maps WebDAV to a drive letter. My favourite would be if Opus had a full-featured integration of WebDAV into all file operations. I'd definitely pay a plugin fee for that feature.

I am very interested in how well Opus will play with Sharepoint. This is a MS product that integrates well with their Explorer. My company has mandated that the LAN file system we have now will be replaced by Sharepoint by the end of the year. I can't imagine life without OPUS. :-0

Perhaps try it and see?
