Opus 12 loads folders and files on Mapped Drives very slowly

I have been running Opus 12 for several years. We have multiple Mapped drives on our computer, When searching them folders and files load very slowly. Most directory loads take 20 to 30 seconds to display. When going to the same space using FTP loads are nearly instant. Saves on the other hand slow. Is there a setting speed up either loading mapped drives folders and files. Or to force edits on FTP file to save quickly.

Are the mapped drives on your LAN, or over the internet? (SMB basically unusable over the internet due to latency, in my experience.)

Are they also slow to load in other software?

They are mapped over the internet using WebDrive. I am assuming that is SMB but not sure. I like the linking ability but you are correct.. the load times are sometimes just not usable. So next thing.. When I am editing a php file that I loaded via Opus 13 Ftp Usually edited with Visual Studio Code, is there a way get the save to occur instantly or at least faster?

You can change how that works under Preferences / File Operations / Double-click on Files / FTP. (May be in a slightly different place if you're still using Opus 12. Account says Opus 13, but I can look it up if you can't find it in 12.)

Thanks Leo. We are using Opus 13 here. I' check the settings an get back to you if I need any additional help.
