Opus is very slow - 100% CPU usage

When I start dOpus its fast for a few minutes. Then suddenly it fully loads one core of my quad core Intel CPU.
Even when it is doing nothing and is minimized to the tray.
Its still 'usable' but everything works at a snail pace.
The problems started this week when I upgraded to the latest version.
I reinstalled but that makes no diffrence.

Any idea how to fix this?

Did you have a look here?
[Crash, exit or high CPU when viewing certain directories)
