I have a couple of issues to report with Directory Opus and Applian's Replay Media Catcher:
Even if a lister is open for RMC's output folder, Opus opens a new tab/lister instead of re-using the existing lister when using the 'Show in Folder' feature.
There is a noticable delay when scrolling to the file. This is more evident when the folder contains a filecount in the tens of thousands and the file is some way down the list.
Attached video '12_11.avi' shows these issues.
Attached video '12_2.avi' shows Opus working as expected.
I first spotted these issues in 12.2.1, possibly related to the added feature "The Preferences option Launching Opus / Explorer Replacement / Open external folders in a new tab now routes new tabs to the most recently used Lister, rather than the source Lister."
Replay media catcher does not always create valid media files. I have see it create files that could only be opened in specific apps, with other apps reporting is as corrupted. Some times the file will play for a bit then stop, or play at the wrong speed, or report the wrong length of time.
DOpus is going to try load the meta data from the file, if any of that data is corrupted it could cause issues. Do you have media columns enabled? Disabling them might prevent it loading that data from the media file and help with the slowdown issue.
I didn't check the files, so this might not be your issue.
