So I have Opus 9.1.1.7.3307.x64. I upgraded from Vista to Windows7 x64 and if I use any of the 3 options besides "don't replace explorer" I can't open things like the control panel from the start menu, or my computer from the desktop.

Opus 9.5 (the current version) integrates with Windows 7. Older versions do not. There has been a lot of discussion about this in these forums.

Most probably he hasn't found a more recent torrent than 9.1.1.7
