Opus search

Is there any settings about customizing the threads for running Opus search in parallel. Just want to know if there is any way to make it faster.

( I know there is windows search or everything search. Just want to use none index way. I ask this because it seems the Opus search is slower than the other none-index searcher (ex: xplorer2) and not sure if Opus is already searching by multi-thread )

It's only single-threaded. I guess multi-threading might make sense on SSDs but very much needs to be avoided on most other media.

Remember that you can do an indexed search via Everything and then refine the results using Opus's extra functionality, which would only then have to consider the initial matches. That should avoid the need for multi-threaded searching in most situations where it might be useful (e.g. searching the whole C:\ drive).

I have some mounted cloud storages (ex: pcloud) which is very large.

Index them will be very slow and the changes could be made from other place. I think it is very suitable to search them by multi-thread because in mounted cloud disk it will fire the multiple api request to cloud at the same to get result much faster.

Could you please elaborate or refer me to a resource with more details on how one might go about setting up this integration? I wasn't aware this is possible and it sounds like a solution to a little annoyance I'm having.

Install the Opus 13 public beta and Everything, then use this in the Find panel:
