Opus windows becoming borderless due to Borderless Gaming

So, there's been this weird thing were DO will go into some weird fullscreen thing. I don't know what it is, it doesn't respond to F11, I haven't found out what the hell triggers it. No mouse or keyboard button clicks, it's random.

[Some sort of fullscreen no border mode?]

But every time it happens, I have to force close DO and hope it doesn't load in that state. Most of the time it doesn't. But it does open broken afterwards a few times.

Notes: If you save the lister when it's like this, it always opens back up like this when you load the save.

I've spent so long trying to figure out wtf is going on, does someone here know?

You can't normally move the titlebar of a window offscreen, unless there are multiple monitors and another is designated as being above the one we can see.

Are you running any tools that change window behaviors or that reposition windows?

What happens if you use Win+Cursor Keys to move the window around?

Just from the name, I'd guess "Borderless Gaming" might be involved.

I have not set up any automatic profile for DO in Borderless Gaming, nor is there any hotkey being pressed to trigger anything.

You've got Borderless Gaming set to automatically match windows by title.

If you go into the folders for some of those games, the title of the Opus window is going to match the titles in that list.

That will be the cause.

You could refine the Borderless Gaming definitions to use something more specific than just the window title. (I can't remember if it lets you match on window class as well as title, but that's usually a good idea if the option is there.)

In Opus, you can also change the window titles to make them less likely to be matched by mistake. If you want to keep just the folder name (not full path), you might want to add " - Directory Opus" after it or similar. Turn on Preferences / Display / Options / Custom title and set it to %N - Directory Opus

That is a brilliant spot. Pity the default method is by window title.

Thank you for the help, I've changed the lister title as well to something that suits me better with the info you gave:

Cheers!

Opps, thanks for editing the support title. I'll try to remember to do that myself next time.
