Pathbar Size in Dual Horizontal View

I'm using the dual horizontal view, and I want a pathbar for each directory listing.

I created a 2nd Pathbar, and dragged it under the directory tabs. It stretches from the right edge of the folder tree to the left edge of the opus window. I like this.

The other pathbar stretches the entire width of the screen - I'd really like it to be the same as the other (it runs under the folder tree).

crude drawing:

-----------------------------
| | |
| | |
| | [location here] |
-----------------------------
| | |
| | |
| | |
-----------------------------
| [Location here] |
-----------------------------

I'd really like:

-----------------------------
| | |
| | |
| | [location here] |
-----------------------------
| | |
| | |
| | [location here] |
-----------------------------

Any ideas?

If it's not clear, I can make an attachment. Thanks.

A screenshot would be good, yes please.

Hi Leo,

Sorry I haven't gotten back in so long.

Attached is a screenshot of my listers as they stand. What I'm looking for is to have the "Location" pathbar at the bottom not stretch under the folder tree - to have it exactly the same width as the "Location" pathbar in the top half.

Thanks!

Just add a SPACER in customize mode like this:

Christiaan,

I tried that but if you drag the splitter between the directory listing and the folder tree to resize, the spacer stays the same size. The Location doesn't stay flush against the folder tree.

Try this: Right click the spacer in customize mode and deselect Full Width -> resize the spacer.

If I do that, the spacer stays at whatever size it was in the custom view - it doesn't dynamically resize to the split between the directory listing & folder tree.

I think that's normal. As far as I know, you can't make it look like this (manipulated screenshot):

Oh well, that's what I was going for  But thank you for taking time to try!
