PDF file type missing in the search window?

Hi!
I'm new to DOpus so thanks for any help.

I'm trying to filter for PDF extension files but..

There does not seem to be PDF file type.

While in the 'File Types' windows it's there:

It seems that this should be so easy yet I'm struggling to find what to do LOL.

In the search panel, do you have an entry like 'Adobe Acrobat Document' or something similar?

I even changed the open by default to Acrobat - the lister shows 'Adobe Acrobat Document' but the file types does not have it

Use the filter like this:

name match *.pdf

or like this

Yeah I figured that already, I was just wondering what's wrong with the "Types" and why PDFs are not there

It's probably because it hasn't been registered as a traditional file type (with a file extension / ProgId in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT) but instead uses one of the 764 other file type association systems Microsoft have invented in the past few years
