PDF XChange Editor has an amazing feature to allow dragging and dropping pages from the thumbnails view into Windows Explorer. This allows scanning of many pages at once into one PDF and then extracting pages on the fly to create smaller PDFs.
Unfortunately this only works with Windows Explorer but not with Directory Opus. Ie the drag and drop seems to work but the new PDF file is never generated.
Haven't had a chance to look at this yet, but it is on our list.
If you want a quick thing to try, Preferences / Miscellaneous / Advanced [Compatibility]: dragdrop_async = False can fix incompatibility with some drag & drop handlers.
