Is it possible to place the "Favorites" at the top of the navigation tree? I selected them so there are in the tree, but they are currently located at the bottom.

It seems not to be possible at the moment, to customize the order of items in the tree. This also applies to the position of sytem directories like the recycle bin.
You could alternatively use the favorites, which you can arrange in the wished order. This can be done in the preferences -> favorites -> favorites list, or per favorites -> edit in the upper menu.
