At my everyday work in dealing with the management of folders and files I miss the following, as I find, useful functional
enlargement:
In the Preferences -> Preference Categories -> File Displays -> Mouse, there is the following function:
".....
-> Single click to open an item: This option activates "single-click" mode. In this mode, you select files by hovering over them with the mouse, and open files or folders by single-clicking them, like links on a web page.
....."
If it was possible to extend this function by the following point:
-> Single click on folder and double click on file: This option activates "single-click" mode for folder and "double click"(normal) mode for files.
In this mode, you select folders by hovering over them with the mouse and open the folder by single-clicking them.
The files within the folder are opened by double click.
I would be grateful to you, if you could insert this functional extension in one of your next version updates.
