Prefs for floating toolbar lost after closing the toolbar

Hi,
I set up my custom toolbars to be free-floating. "Save state of Floating Toolbars automatically on exit" in the Preferences is turned on.
However if I close the toolbar it looses all the settings regarding the floatation. When turned on again, the toolbar is not floating anymore.

These options are not preserved:

Maybe I am doing something wrong.

Toggle it with a command like this:

Toolbar NAME="OffsiteBackup" STATE=float TOGGLE

You can put that command into another toolbar, menu or hotkey.
