- Ensure opening a new lister nowhere shows the "Images" toolbar.
- Open a new lister by running
Go PATH=/thispc NEW=nodual,notree,nometapane,noviewpane,noutilitypanel
- There's no "Images" toolbar.
- Run
Prefs STYLE=Images
- There's the "Images" toolbar at the bottom of the lister now.
- Run
Prefs STYLE=^prev
- Bug: The "Images" toolbar is still there, although it wasn't when opening the lister, and the docs say:
^prev
This refers to the initial appearance of the Lister when it was opened, and lets you return to that state
- Bug: The "Images" toolbar is still there, although it wasn't when opening the lister, and the docs say:
What’s making it appear there? The style, or the Prefs setting to turn on toolbars when in (e.g.) thumbnails mode, or something else?
It doesn’t normally appear at the bottom, so I’m assuming something has been edited, which might be a factor.
I have no idea.
- I never changed the style, and the style uses the default toolbar set. I don't have any toolbar sets defined under "Preferences / Toolbars / Sets".
- "Preferences / Toolbars / View Mode Toolbars" has "None" selected for everything but "Thumbnails", which has "Images" selected. And the drop-down list to the right of it has "top" selected.
If this isn't caused by some setting, wouldn't this be an independent bug? The bug above may still be reproducible when ignoring the bottom position the initial description expects.
Same settings here, and is working fine. Toolbar actually appears on top.
