HI there,
I have been using Opus quite heavily for years as an image viewer and sorter - the simplest means being to double click an image in a directory of images and, if it isn't up to quality, to delete it and move on to the next image until all images in the directory have been reviewed. I was wondering if there is a feature allowing Opus to read the next few images into memory, or to keep a series of images in memory to make this operation faster. We often operate over a network, and pre-loading the next file in the list of files (or the next couple of files) would greatly speed the process. There are image browsers out there that offer this feature which results in a dramatic speed increase in the user interface, but I prefer to stick with Opus.
I have searched through the preferences, but see no such option ... does anyone know if it exists and, if not, would it be difficult to add? Is there a place for sending in suggestions for features?
Thanks for any info,
~Micheal
