I'm guessing this is new behavior, as I have never run into a problem before, but double clicking a folder is always opening the folder in a new tab, which I have never wanted. Please let me know where the option is to disable this. Several searches within the settings did not turn up the right setting for me. Thanks.
Double-clicking where? Inside Opus or somewhere else?
Could be in File Types
(under Settings
menu) for the All folders
type :
In the events tab
what do you have under Left double click
?
Default should be Go
but according to what you describe, you might have something like Go NEWTAB
.
On my side, the standard opening folder in current tab has not changed for a long time.
In my case, clicking a folder name in the lister will open a new folder tab when the current folder tab is "Locked" (as shown with a lock in the folder tab name).
To unlock a folder tab, right click the folder tab, then click Lock Tab > Unlocked.
Thank you. I had actually just figured it out, but you were exactly right as to the problem. I discovered the "lock - allow folder changes" setting.
As for double clicking where? As I said, double clicking a folder. Standard procedure for opening a folder, but I didn't yet understand the "lock a folder" feature... thanks, Grosner for the help on that. Nice troubleshooting.
I meant in which program. Folders double-clicked outside of Opus can be opened in Opus, etc.
Not important now you've worked it out, anyway.
