There are 2 buttons in metapane header to select next/previous file.
Not possible to change buttons behaviour to change folders too ?
I think those buttons are (at least currently) hardwired to only cycle through files and ignore folders.
You could make toolbar buttons or hotkeys which run Select PREV and Select NEXT to do something similar including the folders.
