Print To - switches to print jpg to a cropped pdf

I found the simple instruction to add Print TO "Microsoft Print to PDF" and added that to my context menu. However, this prints on a letter size page which requires a cropping exercise. When I right click a jpg and choose to Print via Windows, it immediately opens the "Print Pictures" version of "Microsoft Print to PDF" and fits / crops the image perfectly. Print TO "Print Pictures" does not work.

Is there a script that Directory Opus can use to send the file to "Print Pictures" . Would be great to do the process without preview / selection / etc.

I also tried Print TO "Paperport Image Printer" but that prints to a letter also.

Thanks for any advice,

Don

You should be able to set the default paper size through the system printer settings control panel.

Thanks for quick response. I checked the settings but there is no option for fitting / cropping the PDF to match the size of the JPG. One could choose say, 4x4 but that will just be an image slapped on a meaningless virtual page of paper resulting in useless white space. It would seem that a device "Microsoft Print Picture" would be available but I have found nothing so far. Thanks again.

Sorry I assumed since you were talking about paper size that you wanted to change the default paper size.

Right click -> Print in Opus seems to bring up the same dialog for me as from Explorer anyway, so I would have thought the results would be the same.
