I regularly sync 2 folders, one on each PC, across my network.
On one of the PCs when I click "Tools/Synchronise" it opens the sync utility panel at the bottom of that lister window. Until today, the second PC did exactly the same thing. But now, on the other PC, it opens a new lister window, with a sync utility panel at the bottom.
I know I must have changed something, somewhere, but I have no idea what.
Could someone let me know, what I need to do to restore the previous behaviour? That is, open sync panel in same lister? Thanks.
Hi Leo, thanks for answering. No I didn't edit anything in the command, as, until 5 minutes ago, I didn't know you could!
I don't know what caused the change and unless it happens again I probably never will. After asking for help, I came up with my own solution - I exported the settings from the PC where sync didn't open a new lister, and imported to the other PC.
If it happens again, I'll take follow your advice. Thanks, Steven.
