I switched from Windows Explorer to Directory Opus and it had been working excellently (probably the best file manager) until today, when I installed BitDefender and PeerGuardian 2 (specifically when I rebooted at the end of the installation). Now whenever I try to open a folder, it takes a few seconds, then the folder opens for a fraction of a second, then the window closes and dopus.exe closes. Any thoughts? I'm currently running the evaluation version but I plan to purchase it if this problem is resolved.

Maybe a silly question but have you tried removing BitDefender and PeerGuardian?
Never mind, it was just something stupid and easily solveable.
For the benefit of others on the forums, care to mention what you had to change to solve the problem you were seeing?
