just discovered the new forum. Looks promising, really. But I miss the profile area on the right, especially the used Opus version. Where should I mention the version?

That will be returning. We are in the process of writing some plugins, but there's a steep learning curve with all the languages and frameworks involved.
But it's also worth mentioning the version when you post, since the forum won't ever know the exact version you are using and it's often important to know.
