Quick Create of TabGroup

Hi!

Is there a built-in function to quickly create a tab group from all currently open tabs (in dual lister mode) without going into settings?

Right now, I'm in the process of creating a new tab group and have prepared several tabs in a dual mode lister. To continue, I've to open the settings and add each of those tabs manually to the new group.

I'm seeking for a function (maybe a script or some commands) to ease this process a bit more.

So any chance to do some automation?

Right-click the tab bar and choose Groups -> Save.

You are my hero

There's also the Go TABGROUPSAVE command if you want to make a hotkey or toolbar icon for it.

Feature request: Possible enhancement to the tab groups settings, add a button to achieve the same as above, at one of those places:

For those users that normally use the settings for adding a new tab group :innocent:

Not sure I understand. The first button in the first screenshot will add a new tab group.

Yes, sure, but not with the same features like Jon described above: use all open tabs (in a dual lister) to create a new tab group.

Then you would have to tell it which window (if any) to use for the tabs, and which side of the window.

It could be done but I'm not sure it would be any easier than doing it directly from the window/tabs you wanted to save.
