just finished uninstalling Opus, reinstalling 13.17 and then 13.17.4 due to another problem and now it works. Great 
You have the viewer set to auto-size so I'd expect its size to be different every time anyway?
I don't actually use auto-size, I'm just looking for a way to keep the "full viewer" size the same and not be affected by quick show.
For me, quick show is perfect as it is, I don't mind that quick show always changes its size according to the size of the image to be opened, it's just that it changes my habit of using the full viewer where I always open the full viewer with the same size.
Ah ok, got it now. Fixed in the next beta.

We've added a maximum size option (set as a percentage of the screen size) in the next update.
Could you post your script request in a separate thread please as this thread has got very hard to follow.
