I am having some trouble using the Refine Search Feature on DirOpus 10 Lite (latest build).
For instance, say I have the following files in a folder :
aa.txt
ab.txt
cd.txt
I perform a first basic search (Ctrl-F) looking simply for filenames containing 'a' in that folder. I get in a search lister the following results :
aa.txt
ab.txt
Then I click on Refine and type 'b' instead of 'a' in the search field : I expect to see ab.txt as result but nothing, the lister gets empty. Worse, if I let 'a' in the search field, clicking on search again with refine ticked also empties the search lister.
Is this an issue or did I miss something about the refine feature ? I really would like to use it !
I have both licenses for V10, light and pro. I registered both on the forum. I observed the issue with the light version. I have not had the opportunity to test with the Pro version. I have no V11 license ans still hesitating due to the upgrade cost.
After investigation, it turns out there is a bug, although the bug is that the Refine option is shown at all in Opus Light.
The Refine option requires features which are only in Opus Pro to work (specifically, saving file collections), so it doesn't work in Opus Light and the checkbox for it should not actually be there. Apologies for the confusion caused by it being there.
A fix for the checkbox will be in the next update.
