Is there a way to show the Relative Age graph's background (blue in the example below) in the "Modified" column like it is in "Relative Modified"?

Did you try the search box typing 'relative'? There's an entry for modified, which might do that.
You can also find that in Prefs PAGE="opuscolors"

Ah, so that option is different from what you requested. I didn't try it myself.
Only the main bar color is used when the bar is behind another column like that. I don't think there is a way to change that.

You can set the background color of the column itself from Preferences / File Display Columns / Appearance if that helps.
