I downloaded some rar files from rapidshare but now i have extensions ending all in .html. (sample1.rar.html, sample2.rar.html etc.)

how to remove .html

I'd try the Rename command.

In future you might want to remove the html from the source URL when you retrieve it.

It usually gets there only when someone who is not familiar with RapidShare posts a link. In reality the file itself lacks the extension.

Someone download managers, including "FDM", will retrieve and save the file sans extension.

Then again, if it happens to you a lot a DOpus button solves the problem.
