I downloaded a bunch of files and all of the names have '%20' in them, since there were spaces in the original file names, for example: Alexander%20Dunaevskiy%20-%20Three%20Generations%20of%20Linux%20Servers.pdf
How can I use DOpus to replace the %20 with space.
I am not very good with Regular Expressions and none of the wild-card attempts I tried, worked.
You don't need a regular expression or wildcard to do this. Simply use the advanced rename dialog in Find and Replace mode, screen grab follows.
Note although you can't see it, there is a space in the "Replace With" box
[DOH] - Couldn't "see the forest for the trees".
I tried the "find and replace" but the PREVIEW window didn't change.....because the files names are so LOOOONNNNNGGGG, the "New Name" column wasn't being displayed and I didn't notice (I need to get some new contacts )
Thanks for showing me what I was missing!
