Req: prefs for filename delimiters; control+arrow handling

Hi,

Apropos this forum post: Text Fields Inconsistency

I'd like a means of specifying the delimiters that affect control+arrow handling in in-line renaming of filenames.

I use hyphens, dashes, and a few other characters to delimit various portions of the file, and being able to "control-arrow" to them would be very useful. eg: filename_using_underscores_0883332.pdf If I use control-left arrow from somewhere inside the number, I end up at the start of "filename" rather than at the start of the number portion.

This forum post, concerning sorting by sub-fields of the filename (Custom sort on "subfield" of filename) is related. It would allow a consistently-formatted directory to be used almost as a simple database, with different parts of the filenames acting as fields.

Thanks for listening

Thanks for the suggestion!

I also think it's a good idea.
Especially because developers quickly get used to ctrl+arrows handling implemented in programming environment (I mean, when editing code) which might be very different from the one used by DOpus. It's very confusing when applications behave different when doing the same things.
