Just a little request for a feature that should be easy to implement, was wondering what the community thought of it:
I'd very much like it if when a new update to Directory Opus was released, it would automatically download it and either give the user the option to run the update and reboot, or to just run it and then notify the user that the system needs a reboot (at his/her convenience) to update Directory Opus.
It seems like there are often little updates to DOpus (for which I am thankful) but every time I have to click and get redirected to the site, then navigate a whole bunch until I find the download, then download, save, run the file, etc...
It'd be handy if Dopus could just handle that for me in the background so that I have the latest without having to think about it.
Also, I would like it if Dopus could also present the user with a list of updates/new features/changes that are in the latest version so that right in the "Update" popup, the user could decide if the update is relevant and worth the time to download and install it.
Are there others out there who think that this is a good idea? I'd like to hear why or why not!
