Right click context menu to Pin to Start and Pin to Taskbar

Hi team,

How would I achieve what my subject asks? So far, I had to open Windows Explorer to get to those 2 functions. I don't see them anywhere in the right click context menu in Directory Opus.

I tried working with File Types but boy is it confusing and I don't know what commands to use. I tried these since I found those online but they didn't work. The first one showed the new menu but nothing happens.

ContextMenu IDCM_PINTOSTART
FileType CONTEXTMENU {IDCM_PINTOSTART}

I would love to have all the Windows Explorer context menu items in addition to the extra ones. I don't like that some are missing, and don't like that it's so complicated to work in File Types.

Microsoft don't allow those commands to be used outside of Explorer.

Do you mean "anymore" or they never did? because I see posts about it here (from years ago).
Is there no way to have it via a script or something else?

As far as I know they've never worked outside of Explorer.

They don't even work in things like Notepad's File > Open dialog.

Restricting them to explorer.exe is intentional on Microsoft's part to stop people other than them pinning their apps to the taskbar and start menu without the user doing it. (They regularly break their own rules, of course.)
