Using Opus 9.5.6.0.3937 on a Windows 7 Professional machine.
When I right click on a file, the various entries do not have one of the characters with an underscore (ie so that an entry is selected with a keystroke), eg as in Windows Explorer:
While in Opus 9 the following appears:
Is there a way to replicate what Windows Explorer does?
Thank you for the reply. You are correct for most of the keys, but not all.
For the "open with" in Windows Explorer or Total Commander, I would right-click (or keyboard equivalent) then the letter "h". In Opus this does not work (nor any other key). Also I have set up on the right-click menu that I can open a WordPerfect file in WPDOS, by pressing the "W" key. This too does not work.
Go to Settings -> File Types -> All Files -> Context Menu -> Open With..., click New...:
Set the Action (which is really the item's name) to Open Wit&h...
Leave the Type as Run an Opus function
Leave the Function as Standard Function (Opus or external)
and into the main box put: FileType OPENWITHMENU
You'll now have two Open With menus, unfortunately, but you'll be able to trigger one of them with the H key.
Regarding W = WordPerfect. There is nothing else with the letter "W". I created the right-click entry using the method found on Edward Mendelson's WordPerfect for DOS updated site: http://www.columbia.edu/~em36/wpdos/windows.html#contextmenu.
In Windows Explorer and Total Commander it works as intended. Only in Opus (along with Open With and the failure to underline the relevant character) is there an issue
I can't help but notice that the Wordperfect context menu item doesn't appear to be on your Opus context menu AT ALL... at least not in the screencap you posted of the Opus menu to show the lack of underscores being displayed...
If the item doesn't appear on the menu AT ALL, then certainly an accelerator key for something that isn't there won't do anything .
Thank you for all the replies, but regarding the following:

I posted a small part of the right click menu. Here is the full version, which shows the WordPerfect entry:
