RMB Open Photoshop PSD Files 32&64Bit OS

Hello,

As you can see from my screen shot how can I tell DOpus which one is 32bit version of photoshop and which one is 64bit version.

Is this a bug or does it need a adjustment in the settings.

Cheers,

Gino

Do you get the same thing with the Open With menu in Explorer?

Cheers,

Leo,

You can move this thread to the coffeeshop part of the forum.

Has anyone else had the same problem occur as per my screen shot. I'm running windows vista 64bit Os with Adobe CS5 installed.

Cheers,

I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit with 64 bit Adobe Photoshop CS5 installed, and I don't see what you're seeing (below is what I do see).

Hey John,

Thanks for checking your system out. Interesting that you have 10 open with options where I have only 5 where I don't even get the standard windows such as movie, photo, media etc.

Cheers,

I suspect you have previously added both Photoshop versions to the Open With menu (via the Browse button, manually adding each exe). Since both exes present the same name, they both look the same in the menu (in both Opus and Explorer).

The underlying issue is that Adobe let/encourage you install 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Photoshop on the same machine but did not think to give the two exes distinct names to avoid situations like this.
