I have 13 installed on my desktop and 12 on my server. Copying files from desktop to server stalls after about 5 minutes of transferring. Is this because of the two different versions or something else?
No. The two installations aren't aware of each other. Only one instance of Opus will handle the copy process.

OK. I uninstalled 13 on the desktop and reinstalled 12 and the copying process ran perfectly. Any ideas?
Opus 13 copies files a bit differently (see here), but I'd be surprised if that's the cause. If it happens again, create a memory snapshot, and send it to the developers.
