Says Link Profile

Says to link my profile but I'm linked up already.

I had that, too. Looks like there's some update going on with the forum software.

Does Ctrl + F5 fix it?

If you go to your user profile page, is it also showing you as unlinked there?

What do you both see for each other? Do you see other people as linked but not your own accounts? Or is no one linked?

(For me it shows you are both linked, in both places.)

Typing here to test what it shows me.

Dunno, it shows that 'Link error' sometimes but not other times.
Has started happening recently. I didn't try Ctrl + F5 because it's not happening right now.

It just did it again when replying to someone.

EDIT: It happened again here too. Ctrl + F5 does fix it.

I just posted a duplicate of this issue, because the title of it didn't grab my attention. Copied it to here now:

Title: Editing a comment removes account linking info

Whenever I edit a comment (don't know about the initial one, but definitely follow-up ones), the account linking info to the right of my user name is replaced with the red text "CLICK HERE: Link your account for priority support". After reloading the page, that spot says "Opus 13" with a star icon again.

Thanks for the extra details. I've reproduced the problem now and done some investigation.

It's looking like a bug in the forum software to me, unless I've made a mistake somewhere. I've posted about it on the forum software's forum to see if anyone there has any ideas.

same for me after uploading two pictures. gone with refresh

OK, had this issue, too some days ago and re-linked my license.

Today I see this message again

Edit: Yes, F5 helps, however, I did refresh the pages various times since this message appeared for the first time, some days ago and yet it came up again today.

Haven't had any response from the Discourse experts yet (but it's only been a couple of days).

If no one there knows why it isn't working, maybe I can find a workaround, although it's hard to test when the problem only happens sometimes and seems quite random. I still think it's a bug in the forum software, but may be wrong.

Happens to me occasionally, but it is purely cosmetic. Never stopped me from posting

q.e.d.

Yes, sure it's not an essential issue at all - however, I see Leo asking me to link my license to my account, though  :winking_face_with_tongue:

It doesn't affect what anyone else sees, only what you see next to your own account after some replies or edits.

Getting on the bandwagon here and confirming that it is happening to me as well, but 100% cosmetic as reported. The first time it happened I thought I was being punished for posting too much lol. Then figured out that nobody cares how much I post :winking_face_with_tongue:
