Is it possible to delete an existing folder layout from a script level (for example using it's name)? I could not find any Opus command to do such a thing. I found options to save the layout, load it but not to remove it.
If you mean Lister Layouts, you can delete their .oll files from /dopusdata\Layouts to delete them.
Indeed the layouts are stored there. Thank you. There is also an order.xml file. Is it safe to leave it untouched? Wouldn't it refer to non-existing layout file? Can such file removal with Directory Opus enabled disrupt it's work somehow?
You don't need to worry about order.xml. The item that's no longer there will be ignored when the file is read in, and will be removed automatically the next time it needs to be written out.
