Script to Search Inside Compressed Files and Move Results

Hi, can anyone help me write a script that:

  1. Ask for a search term/ filename
  2. Search inside compressed files (.zip, .rar, .7z, etc.) using Everything integration
  3. and move the files in a new folder where i ran the script.

I’d appreciate any help with scripting this! Thanks in advance. ::

I might be wrong, but I don't think Everything is indexing archives content.
1.5 is able to index documents (text, word, ppt, excel, ...) content but not archives.

Scripting to search for filename contents in selected archives is doable though.

You likely won’t need a script. Run 1+2 from the FAYT field, then use the standard button to move the files.

For a one-button solution, use Find to create a named collection. Afterward, move the files from the collection using Copy.
