Scrolls to top when using FAYT box

  1. Type in the FAYT box while in thumbnails, tiles or list view
  2. Select a file/folder
  3. Clear the FAYT box
  4. Scroll down and click on a file/folder
  5. The view should scroll to the top and select the wrong file

I can't reproduce this so far, but I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing.

Which methods are you using the select files and scroll down? (I've tried with the mouse, and some ways of doing it with the keyboard as well so far.)

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but I could repeat this several times now and it always happened.

Ah, that is the Filter Bar, not the FAYT field. We'll see if we can repro this again and get back to you if we need more info.

I'm curious if you had any success reproducing this issue. The conditions for when it happens aren't obvious to me so it almost seems random. However, I can still cause it to happen with the folder I set up in the video.

We've reproduced this now, and a fix will be in the first beta after 12.24.
