Select files by clicking in one of the columns

Hi,
I am looking for help on a couple of small but rather important functions for my sake in order to be able to adopt DOpus 100%..

How can I select a file by clicking on it in one of the columns, I work with a lot of audio files and relay more on the meta data columns than the name of the file..

for instance how can I select the file by clicking on the artist or title of a track and not only the name?

Secondly is there a way to have the mouse over behavior like in Explorer where the whole file is highlighted like this?

Select Full row in Preferences / File Display Modes / Details / File selection / highlighting style.
