Select On Hover Improvements

'Underline Items On Hover' is a really nice touch.
File Display - Mouse

But 'Select On Hover' is the worst thing ever. Can you guys divide those two things?
We could enable one but not the other. You could have the select on hover *only overtop the icon, not the label. Or we could have 'Underline Items On Hover' enabled without any of the single click options.

Also could you make an option that if the user had manually made a selection, then 'Select On Hover' can't override that. And an option that deselect "Ctrl + D = select none" will numb the auto select until moving to another folder, or something.

And an option that if we have nothing selected and hold the Shift key down *before click + dragging, it doesn't matter if our cursor is currently over top something, we can still create a marquee selection box.

The code for this is complex enough already. It’s really an accessibility feature, not something most people should use or that we recommend turning on. For most people, the normal way things work is better.

But 'Underline On Hover' is actually fantastic. I wish that it was standalone; I think lots of people would use it. Or an "Outline On Hover" would be good too (selection box outline).

The file under the mouse already changes color (and the color is configurable).

Underlining is an option to remind people that a single click will open the file, not just select it, when in single-click mode. That’s the only purpose for it there.

I had that disabled, sorry.
Thought that "visual styles" was causing my flash of unstyled content issue. It has to be enabled for the mouse hover highlight to work.
