Selecting entire file name

How do I get Directory Opus to select the entire file name, including the file extension when editing a file name? It always selects just the name and leaves the extension unselected. This is different than what Windows Explorer does and is bothersome.

Thanks,

Brian

While doing inline renaming you can select the entire file name by pressing CTRL+A or by pressing F2 repeatedly to cycle through selecting the name, the extension, or both.

Thanks. That helps.

If you want F2 to always select the full thing, go to Settings -> Customize -> Keys and edit the F2 hotkey. Change the command from rename inline to rename inline=all

OK, but is there any way to avoid all of this hotkey stuff and just have the default behavior be that the entire filename + extension is selected initially?

You mean when renaming files by clicking on them? I don't think there is a way to change that.

Yes, that's what I mean. Thanks for the help anyway.
