Send to Recent Locations

Hi,
Sometimes I do a lot of file and folders organization.
So I create, copy, and paste folders according to different needs in different situations.
Is it possible to add the menu of the Recent Locations to the Send To menu in the right click?
This is the default send-to menu

his is the default recent locations menu

So how to make it like the last image?

What customization I may do to achieve that layout?
Thanks

You could have it next to the Send To menu.

  • Settings > File Types
  • All files and folders
  • Context Menu
  • Click New and choose Sub-Menu. Call it "Copy to Recent" or similar.
  • Click New again and choose Run an Opus Function; enter Recent COPY as the command.
  • Arrange the new sub-menu and its contents where you want them.
  • Right-click the first thing after the sub-menu and choose Decrease Indent so specify that's where the menu ends.

Add an item to the menu which runs Recent COPY

Please may you tell me what I did wrong?
Thanks
SendToRecent-0
SendToRecent-1

That looks correct. What’s the issue?

Thanks a lot for your reply helping me.
Please, I did follow what you did and I am stuck at this step.

I am now should start from the step:
Click New again and choose Run an Opus Function; enter Recent COPY as the command.
So shall I choose the Recent command as shown in the below picture or to right it manually in the empty box?

Also, what should I title this action, is it any title to be given?
Then after this step, may you tell me what to do.
I am sorry for bothering you.
Thanks

Either way method is fine. The menus adds text to the command, and are there so you don't have to remember all the commands, but the end result is the same as pasting or typing the commands by hand.

The way you had it in your previous screenshots looked correct.

After that step, just click OK.

Where to find that?
What is the first thing you just mentioned?
I tried the right click here but no Decrease Indent

But I found it done something like what I want but at the far bottom:

So how to move it up?
Thanks

Drag it up in the list.

I did moved it to the far top but it is still shown at the far bottom of the menu.

It's at the bottom in all your screenshots of the editor.

You are very much helpful indeed.

Finally did it.

Thanks a lot.

Please, in case I've reinstalled windows once again, does there is any way to export my current total settings and customizations and import them once again with the new windows installation?

Yes, Settings > Backup & Restore in the menus.

Hi @Leo
Please, if I may ask, what did you mean by this line in your previous instructions?
Do you mean the main right-click menu for any item? or do you refer to something else?
I am sorry for bothering you, but I am just reviewing the steps today and realized that I do not understand this line.
Thanks!

You added the line correctly already, looking at the screenshots from earlier.

I mean the exact meaning for this particular line.

The exact meaning is to do the thing you already did. We can see that you did it successfully here, in your older screenshot:

If you're asking what the command itself means, see the manual. It documents all the commands and their arguments. You can find links to the relevant manual sections for commands etc. at the top-right of the forum.
