Set folder alias quickly + Control Panel view

  1. Is there a way to quickly set a folder alias? By "quickly" I mean via either the command line or a keyboard shortcut that directly opens up a folder selection dialog for a that alias. I have an alias that I frequently modify and I find it tedious to always go through Preferences -> Favorites -> Folder Aliases -> [scroll down to find alias] -> Edit.

  2. When I type in "/controls" in a lister, a separate Windows dialog opens up with the Control Panel. Is there a way to open the Control Panel in DOpus, as if it were a folder? I tried turning on Preferences -> Folders -> Virtual Folders -> "Treat all virtual folders as real", but it didn't make any difference.

I'm on Win7 x64, DOpus 9.5.4.0.

Not currently. You could request it.

Opus avoids handling Control Panel on Vista and above, since it is no longer a standard virtual folder. (There is a virtual folder view of it but it's very different to the real control panel these days.)
