I've been wondering on this one for ages, I guess it should be simple but the best solution is obviously eluding me.
What is the best way of taking a column set you've devised in a lister and then setting it to be used globally replacing any other settings in any saved lister layouts.
There should be an option in the folder options dialog (-> tools -> folder options), where you can save your current format globally. You can use both sub options to use that format for all tabs & folder layouts, as well as to remove all other existing formats.
