SFTP (SSH) upload to server super slow on Opus 13

I am trying to upload files to my server using the SFTP (SSH) protocol. I am getting 500 KiB/s with Opus 13, and 40 MiB/s upload speed with Filezilla, using default settings in both programs.

Is there any obvious change to settings I am missing that makes Opus so slow compared to Filezilla?

I am afraid I might have dabbled with advanced settings in Opus before. Is there a quick way to reset all advances settings to defaults, just to make sure it isn't some change I might have made 3 years ago?

I would really love to get rid of Filezilla and use only Opus for FTP.

Any update on the SFTP/SSH speed issue? It works well - it's just slow. Really slow. Great product BTW - thank you.

We're currently working on replacing the SFTP code with a new component.

I don't have a good ETA but it's the main thing we are working on now, having finally found a component to base it on that has good speeds with high-bandwidth internet connections (at least from my own testing so far).

Once it's ready for people to try, we'll probably add a switch to let you enable it, and then later make it the default.
