The shell extraction function for icons, that worked wonderfully for me in WNdows XP Professional 32x, seems not to ne working in Windows 7 64k. I amd dealing with svs files, which is a special jpeg format used by the Aperio Scanscope (aperio.com). I ´ve tried to upload a sample file, but I get the eroor messsage "svs extension not allowed".

Does it work in Explorer?
If not then it's likely whoever makes the shell-extension that extracts thumbnails for those files has failed to make a 64-bit version of it (or they have but you haven't installed it, of course).
