Why not implement keyboard map "SHIFT + Backspace key" to go forward previous folder tree to max profits?
The default Go Back and Go Forward hotkeys are Alt + Left Arrow and Alt + Right Arrow, but you can add or edit hotkeys as you wish.
Backspace goes Up a level by default, not Back in the history. There's no opposite of Up as you could go down into any of multiple folders in most locations. (If you just want to go into the currently selected folder, push Return on it.)
