Just upgraded to 13.1, so not a beta post per se. Is there a hotkey/shortcut for the search bar dropdown for Windows or Everything search?
By default, F3 activates the search field so you can start typing into it.
When the field is active, you can also push F4 to open the drop-down that lets you change modes.
You can also type + directly into the file display to open the Find-As-You-Type field in a mode that sends the rest of what you type to Everything (Global) and shows the results similarly. (Main drawback to using that instead of the search field is you can't see/edit what you typed after the FAYT field closes.)
The F3 and + keys can be edited if needed.
