Shortcut to Windows Startup Folder doesn't work in Dopus

I have this shortcut to my Autostart (= Startup) folder in Windows 11. It's on the desktop and a copy of it is in another folder somewhere else. Both shortcuts only work in Windows Explorer but not in Dopus. If I double-click on the shortcut in Dopus, nothing happens. Why would that be so?

The full path in the shortcut is this:
"C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

Works OK here if I set up a similar shortcut.

Do other folder shortcuts work?

Is the folder already open in another window/tab that's being activated instead of a new window/tab opening?

Thanks, Leo, for tracing this down further. I just created another arbitrary shortcut, and it doesn't work in Dopus either. What's more, I can't even create a shortcut within Dopus, because the respective command is missing from the context menu.

If I try to create a shortcut using CTRL+SHIFT+DRAG in Dopus, I get this error message

Can you make any sense of this?

Does the same action work in File Explorer?

Yes, all of the above actions work in Windows Explorer and create working shortcuts.

However, these shortcuts all only work in Explorer and not in Dopus.

Things LOOK unsuspecting, even in Dopus, I think:

My guess is that something is blocking Opus from using the Windows DLL that's involved with reading/writing shortcuts.

E.g. Try adding Opus to your antivirus's whitelist(s).
