Simple rename dialog (might be happening elsewhere as well) shows 2 text entry boxes, double-clicking on a word selects the word + the following space + the opening bracket.
Expected behaviour is to just select the word please.
It’s how edit controls in Windows behave in general (although which characters they consider delimiters can vary; in Opus you can change it via Preferences/ Advanced).

You would need to remove (. The space is kept with the word to make copy/paste easier.
I'd use a Rename key instead, they work in this context.

Feature request please.
add space to advanced/wordbreak_char.
That way I can remove it and it will select just the word.

If you didn't have space as a wordbreak char then it would treat multiple words separated by spaces as one single word, I really don't think you want that.
