Slow start multiple file move or copy network shares

Hi
I have developed a small problem with Directory Opus 10 running on WinXPSP3. When copying or moving multiple files from a network shares (WinXPSP3) Directory Opus takes approx 30 secs to start the move. If I copy individual files the copy starts immediately and if I move multiple files one at a time i.e. start the queue function there is no delay. Any assistance in resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

What does Windows Explorer do in the same situation?

Ah my apologies it is a windows problem, not a directory opus problem. Windows Explorer does exactly the same thing. Sorry for wasting your time.
